Earlier this week a friend of mine, or maybe she is more of an acquaintance (either way, someone I know), was on a local morning show, Colorado & Company, talking about the Angel Adventure Walk this weekend, and her own experience with having a brain tumor. Kudos to her for sharing!!! And, I'd like to share it with you.
I'd also like to share more stories if anyone would want to share them with me. Brain cancer, lung cancer, skin cancer, all cancer has a story. What's yours?

Chloe,
I think it is wonderful that you decided to start this foundation. In the short time that I worked with you and everything was taking place with Leah, you were very passionate about the people in her life who were directly affected by what was occurring. As I am sure I discussed with you, I lost my father to Cancer, Kidney Cancer to be exact and it was the hardest thing I have ever had to go through. With foundations such as this, family and friends now finally have a place to help them grieve over their loved ones and a place to help the cause through fundraising. I didn’t have a place like this to give me hope and ended up holding it all in for the past 6 years. Only when my son was due on the 6 year anniversary of my father’s passing did I finally make peace with his death. I wish you best of luck and hope that this foundation reaches many people who went through what we have gone through.
